Position: Sales Resource Manager (SRM)
Horizon Insurance is excited to offer a career opportunity in a new role called Sales Resource Manager (SRM). This position is full time and permanent with an estimated start date of January 2012.
The Sales Resource Manager is responsible for developing local sales tool champions and providing on-going training and assistance. This position plays a vital role in the growth and development of our sales culture. This position also works closely with the Chief Sales Officer.
The SRM prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals and existing and potential opportunities. The SRM also monitors competitors and researches market conditions and changes in the industry that may affect sales; assists in the development of sales opportunities for the sales team and serves as the sales tool expert to align resources with opportunities.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a related field and familiar with standard industry concepts, practices and procedures is required. A University Degree in Sales and Marketing is preferred. This position partners with the Chief Sales Office in getting sales results; the best qualified candidate anticipates business needs, suggests solutions and has a demonstrated track record of achieving results. Requirements also include the ability to take independent action, demonstrate initiative, and a strong predisposition for learning.
